Wodgina Project

Wodgina Project

Western Australia

The Wodgina Project is an exciting iron potential play with significant potential for high-grade iron ore extraction. This newly granted Wodgina East tenement, E45/6363, directly abuts the eastern edge of Mineral Resources’ (ASX: MIN) renowned Wodgina Mine. Its strategic location, just 114 kilometres from the Utah Point shipping terminal via the Great Northern Highway, ensures convenient transportation and logistical efficiency, enhancing its development potential.

Geological mapping and rock chip sampling at Wodgina East have confirmed the presence of channel iron mineralisation across several mesas. In the southern region of the Project, large mesa-forming pisolitic paleochannel iron outcrops have been systematically mapped and sampled, revealing promising results. Historical rock chip sampling from Mesa 2 returned eight samples with iron grades ranging from 51.94% to 56.67% Fe, highlighting the possibility of high-grade iron ore within the tenement.

Building on these findings, an infill and extensional sampling program is planned, alongside metallurgical bulk sampling, to evaluate the beneficiation potential of the identified iron ore deposits.
