Andover Project
Western Australia
The Andover Project is a key component of Riversgold’s extensive 470 km² tenement portfolio in the Pilbara region. The Project includes two large, contiguous exploration license applications—ELA 46/5072, covering 189 km², and ELA 47/5086, spanning 207 km²—which, along with the recently acquired ELA 47/5069, form a significant part of RGL’s strategic lithium exploration efforts in the Karratha area.
The Mud Crab Project, encompassing tenement application ELA 47/5069 (74 km²), is strategically located just 8 kilometres northeast of Azure Minerals’ (ASX: AZS) significant Andover lithium discovery. This prime positioning places the Project in close proximity to high-grade lithium intersections, including results of up to 209.4 metres at 1.42% Li₂O.
The Andover South Projects are situated just 16.5 kilometres south of Azure Minerals’ (ASX: AZS) Andover Lithium Project and 14.8 kilometres south of Raiden Resources’ (ASX: RDN) Andover South lithium target, where recorded grades have reached up to 3.80% Li₂O. Initial field programs have been completed, indicating promising potential for lithium mineralisation within the Project area.
Looking ahead, Riversgold plans to consolidate historical data and develop a comprehensive exploration plan and regional model in anticipation of the tenement grants.
