The Onslow South Project is located in tenement E08/3682, spanning 324 km² and situated approximately 40 kilometres south of Onslow, near significant uranium deposits in Western Australia.
To the north of the Onslow South Project lies Cauldron Energy’s (ASX: CXU) Yanrey Uranium Project, which includes the Bennet Well deposit with a resource of 30.9 million pounds of U₃O₈ at 38.9 million tonnes grading 360 ppm U₃O₈. The Project is also located approximately 20 kilometres north-northeast of Paladin Energy’s (ASX: PDN) Manyingee Uranium deposit, which has reported resources of 15.7 million pounds of U₃O₈ at 850 ppm and an inferred resource of 10.2 million pounds at the same grade, using a 250 ppm cut-off.
Furthermore, the Onslow South Project is situated just 1.5 kilometres from the Minedex uranium occurrence, where historical drilling in 1980 returned a result of 0.5 metres at 550 ppm U₃O₈ from a depth of 107.4 metres.
Current exploration plans include infill and extensional sampling to delineate the extent of uranium mineralisation, as well as metallurgical bulk sampling to assess beneficiation potential. Future objectives involve compiling historical data to develop a comprehensive exploration plan and regional model, which will guide the preparation for potential future tenement grants.
