Saint John Project

Saint John Project

New Brunswick, Canada

The Saint John Project, located just west of Saint John in the Bay of Fundy region in New Brunswick, Canada, covers a 101 km² area with excellent infrastructure and accessibility. Situated in a Tier-1 mining jurisdiction known for its rich mineral potential, the Project presents a promising exploration target for high-grade copper, gold, antimony, and silver.

Recent rock chip sampling has yielded encouraging results, with grades reaching up to 17.6% copper (Cu), 10.8% antimony (Sb), 70.4 grams per tonne (g/t) gold (Au), and an impressive 1,500 g/t silver (Ag), equivalent to 48 ounces per tonne.

The initial sampling program, carried out by local geologists, focused on both known mineralised zones and newly identified, previously unsampled areas. A total of 64 rock chip samples were sent to ALS Laboratories in Moncton for detailed analysis, with additional results anticipated shortly. Additionally, Riversgold is planning a drone magnetic survey over the Little Lepreau area, expected to commence in mid-November, to further assess the project’s geological structure and mineralisation potential.

During a recent site visit, Riversgold’s senior management, along with geologists from the Department of Natural Resources, conducted a collaborative field trip across the 25 km project strike length to assess its structural setting and potential for IOCG and porphyry-style mineralization, highlighting the site’s strategic location just 5 km from Saint John and 50 km from the US border, which supports nearly year-round exploration and enhances logistical efficiency.

As exploration advances, Riversgold aims to unlock the Saint John Project’s multi-metal potential, with further sampling, analysis, and drone survey data expected to provide a clearer understanding of this high-grade mineral asset’s economic viability in one of Canada’s top mining regions.
